A historic property on the Pomerol plateau

The origins of Château la Cabanne reach back to the mid-eighteenth century, making it one of the older established properties within the appellation. The Estager family acquired the château in 1952 and have remained its custodians ever since, building a reputation for precision viticulture and a clear sense of place. In 2010, a fire caused significant damage to the winery; rather than patch and repair, the family chose to rebuild the chai entirely, completing the work in 2011.
