In the mouth
Silken, powdery tannins give way to a vertical tension—the signature of this terroir. Mineral sweetness on the finish; no heaviness, only refinement.
Where Igoranda is Bourgueil's architecture, Romana is its vibration. This cuvée reminds me of the finest Côte de Nuits Pinot Noirs in its finesse of texture. Here is Cabernet Franc at its most noble: a wine of nuance and length, for those who recognise that complexity need not shout.
