Based at Bué-en-Sancerre in the Cher, Domaine Pascal Jolivet farms 120 hectares across Sancerre's celebrated limestone, clay-limestone and flint soils. Founded in 1993 by Pascal Jolivet — heir to a Loire négociant family with roots going back to 1926 — the estate made its mark with remarkable speed: by 1995–1996, the Wine Spectator had already placed its Sancerre Blanc in the world's top 100 wines.
