In the mouth

CHATEAU GLEON
Château Gléon sits on 50 hectares of south-facing slopes in Villesèque-des-Corbières, Aude, within the Corbières appellation. In the same family since 1861, the estate is now in its sixth generation under Philippe Montanié, with schist and clay-limestone soils giving the wines real depth. Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Malvoisie are farmed to organic standards, certification achieved in 2020 following a conversion begun in 2017, producing reds, whites and rosés of genuine Corbières character. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for its serious organic approach, its traditional encépagement and the long-term vision of a family committed to its terroir.
