CHATEAU CARBONNIEUX
Established on a ridge of Günzian gravels at Léognan, Château Carbonnieux extends across 100 hectares at the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Founded in 1234 by Benedictine monks from the Abbaye Sainte-Croix, the château passed to the Perrin family in 1956, who have built it into one of the rare estates to hold Grand Cru Classé de Graves status in both red and white since 1959. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of both colours, the mineral precision of its whites, and the ageing potential of its reds. A benchmark Pessac-Léognan, rooted in eight centuries of Bordeaux history.
