CHATEAU SALITIS
Situated at Conques-sur-Orbiel in the Aude, Château Salitis farms 110 hectares under certified organic management on the Cabardès appellation, at the foot of the Montagne Noire. Once a dependency of the Abbaye de Lagrasse, the estate has been in the Marandon-Maurel family since 1986; Anne and Frédéric Maurel cultivate Syrah, Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon across clay-limestone soils and gravels that lend the wines structure and freshness. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for its rigorous organic commitment, precise parcel-by-parcel viticulture, and recognition by the 2025 Hachette Guide, which awarded a maximum-score Coup de Cœur to the 2022 Rouge. A Cabardès of genuine character.
