CHATEAU LA NERTHE
Spanning 92 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Vaucluse), Château la Nerthe is one of the oldest documented estates in the appellation, with records dating to 1560. Acquired by the Richard family in 1985, it became the first property in the appellation to achieve Ecocert organic certification, in 1998. Varied soils — sands, marls, clay-limestone and the celebrated galets roulés — yield grenache-led reds of considerable depth alongside roussanne and clairette whites of real structure and length. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the consistency of its organic commitment, the precision of its blending, and its remarkable ability to express terroir faithfully across every vintage. A dependable reference for lovers of the southern Rhône Valley.
