Provence's authentic character in every glass

  • This 2023 Côtes de Provence rouge expresses the distinctive terroir of Provence with clarity and restraint. Certified organic and classified as Cru, it reflects the house's commitment to traditional viticulture and ecological stewardship.
  • A wine for those who value authenticity over fashion. The Cru Classé designation recognises both quality and provenance—ideal for the discerning drinker seeking wines of genuine character and provenance.
  • Equally at home at table or in quiet contemplation, this wine rewards attention. Its structure and balance make it a natural companion to herb-scented roasts and game, yet it holds its own as a standalone pour.

Product features : Domaine de Rimauresq - Cru Classé R de Rimauresq

Breeding
Twelve months' élevage in Bordeaux barrels, French oak (one-third vinified in new barrels and two-thirds in one or multiple-use barrels)
On the eye
Deep ruby with garnet highlights, youthful in appearance with good depth and clarity.
On the nose
Cassis buds, dark berries and black pepper lead, with a subtle eucalyptus note that speaks to the Provençal landscape. The aromatics are restrained and well-defined.
In the mouth
Rich and structured, with dark fruit and spice developing through the mid-palate. The finish is clean and persistent, with fine tannins providing backbone without harshness.
M. Francois
This wine shows its best alongside lamb or beef prepared with herbs—a natural pairing given its own herbal undertones. The structure and moderate alcohol (13.5%) make it versatile at table. Drink now or hold for three to five years as the wine settles and integrates.
