A distinguished Pauillac between Mouton and Lafite

  • Classified as a 4ème Grand Cru in 1855, Duhart-Milon occupies a privileged position in the Pauillac hierarchy. This 2015 vintage exemplifies the estate's commitment to expressing the precise character of its terroir through measured, thoughtful viticulture.
  • A wine of genuine ageing potential, the 2015 will unfold its aromatic complexity over the coming years. Patient cellaring will reveal the layered structure and evolving character that distinguish serious Pauillac from more immediate offerings.
  • The vineyard is managed with reasoned, sustainable practices that respect both the land and the quality of the fruit. This approach underpins the wine's authenticity and balance.

Product features : Chateau Duhart-Milon 2015 — 4ème Cru Classé Pauillac

Breeding
18 months in French oak barrels from Domaines cooperage (approximately 50% new wood)
On the eye
Deep garnet robe, bright and limpid
On the nose
A refined, complex bouquet revealing blackcurrant liqueur, dark berries and a distinctive graphite minerality characteristic of the finest Pauillac terroirs.
In the mouth
Savoury and persistent on the palate, with admirable length and moderate power. The Cabernet Sauvignon's structure is evident, yet tempered by the silken texture typical of the Lafite group's elegant house style.
M. Francois
This wine embodies the straightforward integrity of Pauillac's terroir. It will prove an excellent companion to charcuterie, roasted red meats and traditional French preparations such as gigot aux flageolets. A wine for the table rather than the trophy cabinet.

Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps

CHATEAU DUHART-MILON

Situated on the Carruades plateau in Pauillac, Gironde, Château Duhart-Milon is the sole 4th Grand Cru Classé 1855 of the appellation, across 76 hectares of fine gravels and aeolian sands. Acquired in 1962 by Domaines Barons de Rothschild with a mere 17 hectares, the château has been patiently rebuilt and is today managed by the same team as Lafite, with organic conversion underway since 2021. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plantings, the consistency of its parcel-by-parcel approach, and the aromatic precision of its Pauillac reds. A classical reference for serious Bordeaux collectors.
