Breeding
Approximately 8 to 10 months in barrels (new and one-year-old) with regular lees stirring to add richness and creaminess
On the eye
Brilliant golden-yellow robe
On the nose
The bouquet opens with vibrant exotic fruits and apricot, warming into notes of white chocolate and vine peach, creating an inviting aromatic profile.
In the mouth
The palate is well-balanced and generous, with citrus notes providing freshness on the attack, whilst acacia honey rounds the finish with pleasant warmth and length.
M. Francois
This wine's structure and aromatic profile make it particularly suited to Mediterranean seafood preparations, notably bouillabaisse and similar fish-based dishes where its citrus and stone fruit character will complement the complexity of the broth and saffron notes.

CHATEAU PUECH-HAUT

Set on the argilo-calcaire slopes and rolled-pebble soils of Saint-Drézéry, north-east of Montpellier, Château Puech-Haut farms 150 hectares in organic conversion within the Languedoc appellation. Founded in 1980 by Gérard Bru on what was once dense garrigue and olive groves, the estate has steadily established itself as one of the region's most consistent addresses, blending Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for its reds, and Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier for its whites. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its range, the precision of its assemblages, and the fresh momentum brought since 2024 by incoming managing director Arnaud Demongeot. A reliable, characterful choice for those who want the Languedoc at its most complete.
