- A natural companion to assertive dishes: duck confit, game stews, and richly sauced meats. Its tannin structure and acidity cut through fat with elegance rather than force.
- Approachable now for immediate pleasure, yet sufficiently well-made to reward patient cellaring. Five to eight years in a cool cellar will soften the tannins without diminishing its character.

Breeding
Aged 12 months in two-year-old oak barrels.
On the eye
Deep garnet, almost opaque at the core. A wine of serious colour and weight.
On the nose
Red fruit—cherry and plum—with emerging notes of oak and a subtle earthiness characteristic of the region. The bouquet opens gradually in the glass.
In the mouth
Full-bodied and structured, with a firm grip of tannin that is neither harsh nor green. The finish is long and clean, with good persistence. This is honest winemaking without compromise.
Château Barréjat Cuvée Séduction represents the best of modern Madiran: respect for terroir, proper extraction, and restraint. It will prove an ideal partner for duck confit, game civets, and the sort of rustic cooking that demands a wine of genuine backbone.
