Breeding
Oak barrel
On the eye
Brilliant ruby with good clarity
On the nose
Red stone fruits dominate—ripe cherries and griottines—with subtle mineral undertones reflecting the chalky soils of the appellation
In the mouth
Rounded and well-balanced with good structure. The tannins are refined rather than assertive, allowing the fruit character to develop gracefully through the finish
M. Francois
This wine's aromatic profile and textural balance make it particularly suited to white meats and braised red meats. The acidity and structure also recommend it with charcuterie and aged cheeses. Drink now or cellar for 5–7 years for further development.
