CHATEAU MAJOUREAU
Situated on the south-facing Macarian slopes of Caudrot in the Gironde, Château Majoureau farms 38 hectares of graves and argilo-calcaire soils overlooking the Garonne, producing red and white wines under the Bordeaux appellation. Founded in 1981 by Monique and Bernard Delong, the château has been led since 2002 by Mathieu Delong, fifth generation, who committed the estate to organic farming from 2010. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc make up a balanced range of reds and whites. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the seriousness of its organic approach, the quality of its terroir work, and the consistency it has shown across several vintages. A dependable Gironde address, firmly rooted in its land.
