Product features : Laurent Miquel Solas Pinot Noir 2024 — IGP Pays d'Oc

Breeding
Exclusively in stainless steel. No oak ageing to preserve the pure and unadulterated expression of the variety.
On the eye
Clear ruby-red, almost translucent, with the pale brightness characteristic of the Pinot Noir variety.
On the nose
Wild strawberry and rosemary lead, followed by intriguing notes of spiced Indian tea that linger on the finish.
In the mouth
Remarkably light-bodied with silky, fine-grained tannins. Crisp red fruit character is balanced by delicate acidity, delivering excellent digestibility.
M. Francois
Crafting a Languedoc Pinot Noir that avoids over-ripeness and excessive alcohol is a considerable achievement. Laurent Miquel succeeds admirably here. This is an unpretentious wine for those seeking Pinot's elegance without Burgundian pricing—fresh, crunchy, and ideal for summer lunches.

DOMAINE LAURENT MIQUEL

Based in Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Hérault, Domaine Laurent Miquel farms 200 hectares under certified organic agriculture across the Languedoc appellation. A winemaking family since 1791, Laurent — a trained engineer — took over in 1996 as the eighth generation and made history as the first producer to grow Albariño in France. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the diversity of its terroirs — limestone at Cazal Viel, clay-limestone at Auzines — and the precision of its reds, whites, and rosés. A benchmark address for anyone wishing to explore the full depth of the Languedoc.
