Breeding
Aged on fine lees for a period of 7 to 8 months.
On the eye
Pale golden hue with green reflections.

DOMAINE ALPHONE MELLOT

Domaine Alphonse Mellot is a wine estate in the Sancerre appellation (Loire Valley). One of Sancerre's oldest winemaking families, spanning 19 generations. Around 50 hectares farmed biodynamically. Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc (whites) and Pinot Noir (reds). Cuvées: La Moussière, Génération XIX, Edmond. Flint (terre blanche) and limestone (caillottes) soils.
