Product features : Domaine Pierre Labet Beaune Rouge Clos du Dessus des Marconnets

Breeding
Approximately 16 months in French oak barrels. Restrained use of new wood to avoid masking the fruit's delicacy.
On the eye
Deep crimson, with the clarity and luminosity characteristic of well-made Pinot Noir
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with blackcurrant bud and violet, layered with subtle oak and vanilla from careful élevage. The aromatics are open yet refined, inviting further exploration without overwhelming the senses.
In the mouth
The palate is generous and structured, with ripe fruit and good acidity providing shape and length. A wine of substance that finishes with elegance rather than weight, developing complexity through the finish.
M. Francois
This Beaune pairs admirably with roasted game birds—guinea fowl or pheasant—where its acidity and fruit cut through richness. It is equally at home with beef preparations: a tournedos or côte de boeuf would showcase the wine's depth without overshadowing its finesse. Serve at 16°C, decanted twenty minutes before service for optimal expression.
