A distinguished expression of Beaune's finest terroir

  • Farmed under organic principles, this Domaine demonstrates a genuine commitment to sustainable viticulture. The vines benefit from careful stewardship that respects both the land and the character of Burgundy's distinctive soils.
  • The bouquet opens with blackcurrant and violet, complemented by subtle oak and vanilla notes acquired during élevage. This complexity rewards patient observation and reveals the wine's careful winemaking.
  • As a merchant house with direct relationships to Burgundy's finest producers, Les Halles de Quercamps offers this wine at a fair proprietary price, reflecting our position as grower-to-consumer specialists.

Product features : Domaine Pierre Labet Beaune Rouge Clos du Dessus des Marconnets 2020

In the mouth
Ample and structured, with good flesh and juiciness across the palate. The wine carries fine length, with tannins that are present yet refined. A wine of substance and elegance in equal measure.
On the nose
Generous and layered. Blackcurrant and violet emerge first, followed by a refined oak and vanilla character that speaks to thoughtful barrel ageing. The aromatics remain open and inviting throughout.
On the eye
Deep, clear ruby with excellent definition
M. Francois
This Beaune pairs excellently with roasted game birds—a guinea fowl would be particularly harmonious—or with beef preparations such as tournedos. The wine's structure and depth make it equally suitable for contemplative drinking alongside a mature cheese course. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature, decanted thirty minutes before service.
