Margaux elegance in a wooden case of three

  • This 2022 vintage represents a considered investment for the discerning collector. Prieure-Lichine's consistent expression of Margaux terroir, presented in wooden case format, offers both pleasure and substance for those who value authenticity in fine Bordeaux.
  • The 2022 demonstrates the hallmark elegance and refinement of the appellation. Complex aromatics and balanced structure make this a wine of genuine interest for memorable tastings and occasions that warrant careful consideration.
  • A wooden case of three bottles makes for a thoughtful presentation—ideal for those who appreciate the heritage and provenance of a classified growth. This is wine collecting approached with restraint and respect for tradition.

Breeding
In French oak barrels for a period of 14 to 16 months
On the eye
Mahogany-tinged garnet
On the nose
Dark berry fruits, violet, subtle spice and restrained oak influence. The bouquet develops gradually, revealing the wine's layered complexity.
In the mouth
Elegant and complex, with fine-grained tannins and good length. The palate shows balance and poise, characteristic of Margaux's refined expression.
M. Francois
A wine of considerable merit with lamb dishes, particularly slow-braised preparations such as lamb cooked gently over several hours. The wine's structure and aromatics complement rich, savoury meat dishes with grace. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow the wine to open fully.
