Product features : Laurent Miquel Viognier la Croix 2023 — IGP Pays d'Oc

Breeding
Aged entirely in stainless steel. This "La Croix" cuvée bypasses oak ageing to preserve the crisp character of the Chardonnay.
On the eye
Pale golden hue with bright clarity.
On the nose
Aromatic bouquet of white flowers and peach, with subtle notes of fresh hazelnut and butter. The nose speaks of varietal purity rather than oak-driven extraction.
In the mouth
Balanced and fluid on the palate, with a rounded texture that avoids heaviness. Natural acidity provides structure and lift, giving the wine freshness and vitality throughout.
M. Francois
A modern Viognier of admirable restraint and clarity. It sidesteps the pitfall of excessive oak treatment, instead allowing the fruit and natural acidity to shine. This is noble simplicity—a wine of genuine drinkability that pairs beautifully with fish, composed salads, and aged cheeses. Recommended for those seeking authenticity over artifice.

DOMAINE LAURENT MIQUEL

Based in Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Hérault, Domaine Laurent Miquel farms 200 hectares under certified organic agriculture across the Languedoc appellation. A winemaking family since 1791, Laurent — a trained engineer — took over in 1996 as the eighth generation and made history as the first producer to grow Albariño in France. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the diversity of its terroirs — limestone at Cazal Viel, clay-limestone at Auzines — and the precision of its reds, whites, and rosés. A benchmark address for anyone wishing to explore the full depth of the Languedoc.
