Brilliant, pale gold appearance
On the nose
Intense dried fruit character with subtle floral notes. The bouquet develops gradually, revealing layers of preserved citrus and stone fruit complexity.
In the mouth
Acacia and honeysuckle aromas, supported by delicate almond and hazelnut notes from the Marsanne, which provides structure and precision. The Roussanne contributes subtle white hawthorn, green tea and flower honey notes, bringing amplitude and depth to the palate. A wine of elegant balance and mineral finish.
This is a wine of considerable versatility. Equally at home as an aperitif or paired with lighter seafood dishes and poultry. Domaine Faury is a family wine estate in Chavanay (Loire), Condrieu and Saint-Joseph appellations (Northern Rhône Valley). Run by Lionel Faury. Around 12 hectares on granitic hillsides. Grapes: Viognier (Condrieu), Syrah (Saint-Joseph). Parcel-by-parcel vinification in tank and barrel. Elegant, aromatic terroir wines. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
