Aged in large wooden vats and demi-muids for 15 to 18 months

Deep ruby robe with subtle garnet edges
On the nose
Aromas of wild red and black fruits, interwoven with savoury spice and a whisper of game. The bouquet develops with air, revealing layers of complexity.
In the mouth
Characterful and approachable, the palate opens with dark berry fruits complemented by subtle menthol and liquorice notes. Well-balanced structure with a lingering finish.
Excellent with autumn game in sauce—pigeon, wild duck—or roasted game such as venison haunch and wild boar. The wine's spiced character and moderate tannins make it equally suited to charcuterie and hearty terrines. Drink now through 2028.

Domaine Faury is a family wine estate in Chavanay (Loire), Condrieu and Saint-Joseph appellations (Northern Rhône Valley). Run by Lionel Faury. Around 12 hectares on granitic hillsides. Grapes: Viognier (Condrieu), Syrah (Saint-Joseph). Parcel-by-parcel vinification in tank and barrel. Elegant, aromatic terroir wines. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
