Product features : Domaine Faury "La Gloriette Vieilles Vignes" 2022 Saint-Joseph

Breeding
Aged in large wooden vats and demi-muids for 15 to 18 months
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with garnet undertones
On the nose
Wild red berries mingle with white pepper and liquorice notes. The bouquet develops with air, revealing subtle herbal undertones characteristic of mature Syrah from the northern Rhône.
In the mouth
The palate opens with dark berry fruit—blackcurrant and plum—supported by fine-grained tannins. Menthol and liquorice notes provide textural interest. Good weight and balance, with a persistent finish.
M. Francois
Excellent with autumn game in sauce: pigeon, wild duck. Also suited to roasted game such as venison haunch or braised wild boar. The wine's structure and spice complement rich, savoury preparations. Serve at 16°C after brief decanting.
