120 family growers, one shared passion for Burgundy

  • One of Burgundy's oldest vineyard enclosures, Clos de Chenoves represents generations of viticultural tradition in the Côte Chalonnaise. This historic terroir imparts distinctive character to the Pinot noir grown within its boundaries.
  • A versatile companion to the table. Equally at home with roasted red meats, white poultry, or classic Burgundian dishes such as boeuf bourguignon and oeufs en meurette. Also pairs gracefully with a cheese board.
  • Sourced directly through Les Halles de Quercamps, this wine offers the authentic quality of a cooperative vintage without unnecessary intermediary markups.

In the mouth
Well-balanced and supple on the palate, with ripe tannins fully integrated. The wine displays roundness and structure in equal measure, finishing with clean acidity.
On the nose
Elegant bouquet of red cherries and red fruits characteristic of Pinot noir, interwoven with subtle vanilla notes that speak to careful élevage in wood.
On the eye
Medium-intensity ruby robe, deepening with age towards a mature garnet hue.
Breeding
In stainless steel vats, then in oak barrels and large wooden vessels. The duration of oak ageing varies according to the vintage.
M. Francois
An accomplished expression of Côte Chalonnaise Pinot noir. Serve with grilled red meat, traditional Burgundian braises, game, or a selection of regional cheeses. The wine's balance and approachability make it suitable for drinking now, though it will develop further complexity over three to five years in a cool cellar.
