In the mouth
Silky tannins greet the palate with immediate presence. The mid-palate is generous and layered, whilst the finish extends gracefully across mineral notes and white pepper, with a persistent, refreshing acidity.
On the nose
A complex bouquet of dark berries—blackcurrant and blackberry—with violet florality, white pepper spice and subtle smoky undertones that suggest careful élevage.
On the eye
Deep garnet robe, almost black at the core. Dense and concentrated in appearance.
A wine of substance and character, well suited to beef and lamb, particularly roasted or braised preparations. The structure and tannin profile also make it an excellent companion to game birds and venison. Serve at 16–17°C to fully appreciate its complexity.
