  • This blanc moelleux displays a harmonious balance of fruit and richness. The ripe stone fruit character is complemented by a subtle weight on the palate, creating a wine of genuine substance and appeal.
  • The sweetness is restrained and elegant, with a persistent finish that lingers pleasantly. Rather than cloying, the residual sugar integrates seamlessly with the wine's natural acidity.
  • Sourced directly through Les Halles de Quercamps, this wine offers the authentic quality of a family-run château without unnecessary intermediary markup.

In the mouth
The attack is round and lively, driven by vibrant acidity that prevents heaviness. Fruited flavours dominate, with notes of yellow stone fruit and candied citrus, finishing with pleasant grip
On the nose
Inviting aromatics of ripe pear and pineapple, with subtle floral undertones and a whisper of honeyed complexity that develops with aeration
On the eye
Golden robe with pale amber highlights, suggesting maturity and concentration

Traditional winemaking
M. Francois
A wine of genuine versatility. Consider pairing with blue-veined cheeses—a Roquefort or Stilton would be particularly rewarding—where the sweetness and acidity create an elegant counterpoint to the cheese's saline intensity. Also excellent with foie gras, desserts featuring stone fruits, or simply as an aperitif.

CHATEAU LA MOULIERE

Set on the hillside slopes above the Dordogne valley at Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac in the Gironde, Château la Mouliere covers 22 hectares under the Bordeaux appellation, on clay-limestone soils with silex. Sylvaine and Yannick Fournier took over in 2005 as the fifth generation of the family, and have since built a clear identity around both red and white wines, underpinned by a genuine environmental commitment: the château has held HVE certification since 2013. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the seriousness of its viticulture, and a Gold Medal won at the 2024 Concours for the 2022 vintage. A dependable, family-run Bordeaux address well worth knowing.
