Chateau Puech-Haut's Blanc Prestige demonstrates why this domaine commands respect in Languedoc. The wine seduces through its poise and aromatic depth rather than ostentation. It possesses the complexity to interest serious white wine enthusiasts whilst remaining approachable. A wine of genuine merit that warrants a considered place in any cellar of quality whites.

Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps

CHATEAU PUECH-HAUT

Set on the argilo-calcaire slopes and rolled-pebble soils of Saint-Drézéry, north-east of Montpellier, Château Puech-Haut farms 150 hectares in organic conversion within the Languedoc appellation. Founded in 1980 by Gérard Bru on what was once dense garrigue and olive groves, the estate has steadily established itself as one of the region's most consistent addresses, blending Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre for its reds, and Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier for its whites. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its range, the precision of its assemblages, and the fresh momentum brought since 2024 by incoming managing director Arnaud Demongeot. A reliable, characterful choice for those who want the Languedoc at its most complete.
