Expression of terroir from the southern Rhône

  • A refreshing white wine with excellent clarity and definition. The palate reveals good structure balanced by a refined acidity that speaks to the limestone-rich soils of the appellation.
  • Particularly suited to aperitif service, where its brightness and delicate aromatics shine. Equally at home with grilled fish, shellfish, poultry and dry cheeses.
  • Sourced directly from the cooperative, Les Halles de Quercamps offers this Côtes du Rhône at a fair merchant's margin, reflecting the quality of the vintage without unnecessary markup.

Product features : Les Vignerons de Tavel - Cotes du Rhone Blanc Acantalys 2024 — Côtes du Rhône

Breeding
Separate vinification of each variety according to differing ripeness periods. Skin contact maceration. Pressing. Gravity-fed juice recovery. Settling. Temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation.
On the eye
Clear, pale straw colour with excellent transparency and brightness.
On the nose
Delicate bouquet of citrus fruits—lemon and grapefruit—with subtle white floral notes. The aromatics are refined rather than assertive, inviting closer inspection.
In the mouth
Good weight and substance on the palate, with a mineral character that reflects the terroir. The acidity is exquisite, providing lift and definition without harshness. A wine of balance and restraint.
M. Francois
This is a wine to enjoy at the table rather than merely as an aperitif, though it excels in that role. Serve chilled with grilled fish, shellfish and crustaceans, roasted poultry, or aged goat's cheese. The acidity and mineral backbone make it a natural partner to Mediterranean and Provençal cuisine.
