On the eye
Brilliant pale gold, with fine clarity and luminosity
On the nose
The bouquet opens with ripe pear and citrus notes, characteristic of the appellation. Subtle mineral undertones suggest the wine's Rhône Valley provenance.
In the mouth
The palate is clean and well-structured, with a lengthy finish that develops subtle buttered toast and toasted bread notes. The acidity provides excellent definition.
A versatile white that performs admirably as an aperitif wine. Its freshness and balance make it an excellent companion to lighter fare—a salade niçoise would be an inspired pairing, as would grilled fish or delicate seafood preparations. Serve lightly chilled.

Les Vins de Vienne is a wine merchant founded in 1996 by Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard in Chavanay (Loire). Specialising in terroir wines from the Northern Rhône Valley. Appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas. Grapes: Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne. Pioneering the revival of the Seyssuel vineyards.
