Product features : Alain Jaume Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Grand Veneur les Origines 2022

In the mouth
Spiced and fruited on the palate, with ripe berry character supported by silky, concentrated tannins that provide structure without harshness. The finish is sustained and elegant.
On the nose
Concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits—kirsch and blackberry—interwoven with spice, roasted coffee and subtle vanilla notes that speak to careful élevage
On the eye
Deep purple-red robe with fine intensity
Breeding
Aged in tank for the Grenaches and in 2 to 3-year-old oak barrels for the Syrah and Mourvèdre. The élevage lasts 16 months, half in concrete vat and half in barrels.
M. Francois
This wine will accompany game dishes such as civet de lièvre with particular grace, as well as roasted red meats and well-aged cheeses of character. It is best enjoyed at cellar temperature, decanted if recently bottled, and will reward patience in the glass.
