Seven generations of winemaking mastery

  • Sourced from the Domaine's oldest vineyard parcels, this cuvée captures the essence of Grand Veneur's finest terroir. The selection of vieilles vignes ensures concentration and complexity that only mature vines can deliver.
  • Certified in organic viticulture, this wine reflects a commitment to sustainable farming practices that respect both the vineyard and the natural balance of the terroir.
  • The wine reveals remarkable aromatic complexity, layering dark fruits with spice, dried herbs, and roasted coffee notes. The palate demonstrates impressive structure and length, hallmarks of a serious Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Product features : Alain Jaume Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Grand Veneur Vieilles Vignes 2022 — Châteauneuf-du-Pape

In the mouth
Spiced dark fruits emerge over a framework of fine-grained tannins and subtle oak-derived vanilla. The finish is notably persistent, sustained by remarkable salinity and a refined textural quality that speaks to careful élevage
On the nose
Blackcurrant and blackberry mingle with white pepper and cinnamon, followed by notes of dried garrigue, roasted coffee, and a subtle mineral quality characteristic of the appellation
On the eye
Deep, nearly black robe with excellent concentration and depth
Breeding
Ageing for 16 months comprising 40% in concrete vat and 60% in new and one-year-old French oak barrels (Tronçais origin)
M. Francois
A Châteauneuf-du-Pape of genuine distinction, expressing the quintessence of its terroir through the lens of seven generations' experience. The marriage of old vines, organic farming, and traditional winemaking produces a wine of considerable depth and ageing potential.
