M. Francois
Laurent Miquel demonstrates masterful control of this blend. The Cinsault provides elegance whilst the Syrah contributes substance—neither dominates. The result is a wine of genuine thirst-quenching appeal, remarkably consistent year to year. This is Provençal refinement married to Languedoc generosity. Ideal for aperitifs and informal entertaining.

DOMAINE LAURENT MIQUEL

Based in Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Hérault, Domaine Laurent Miquel farms 200 hectares under certified organic agriculture across the Languedoc appellation. A winemaking family since 1791, Laurent — a trained engineer — took over in 1996 as the eighth generation and made history as the first producer to grow Albariño in France. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the diversity of its terroirs — limestone at Cazal Viel, clay-limestone at Auzines — and the precision of its reds, whites, and rosés. A benchmark address for anyone wishing to explore the full depth of the Languedoc.
