Twelve months' élevage on fine lees in 228-litre barrels (one quarter new oak, one quarter two-year-old wood, one half three-year-old wood)

VIGNOBLE ALAIN ROBERT
Established in Chançay, Indre-et-Loire, Vignoble Alain Robert covers 37 hectares across the south- and west-facing slopes of the Brenne valley, within the Loire appellation. Founded in 1973 by Christiane and Alain Robert on just 2 hectares, the estate grew steadily over five decades before Cyril and Catherine Robert took the reins in 2014 — a family handover that honours the founding spirit while bringing a fresh perspective to Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision and mineral backbone of its whites and sparkling wines, rooted in clay-limestone and clay-silica soils that lend both tension and longevity. A serious address for those who seek the authentic Loire.
