Refinement and balance in a fine Alsatian Pinot Blanc

  • A sophisticated interpretation of Pinot Blanc that marries freshness with roundness. This Reserve demonstrates the restrained elegance characteristic of the finest Alsatian whites, offering complexity without ostentation.
  • Impeccable balance between delicate orchard fruit, mineral precision and subtle floral character. The wine achieves harmony through careful élevage, allowing each element to contribute without dominating the whole.
  • A genuinely versatile wine for the table. Equally at home with grilled fish and light preparations as with richer dishes—poultry in cream sauce, quiche, or soft cheeses. Suitable from aperitif through to dinner.

DOMAINE ALBERT BOXLER

Based in Niedermorschwihr in the Haut-Rhin, Domaine Albert Boxler farms 14 hectares of steep granite hillsides under the Alsace appellation, with yields deliberately held to 30–35 hl/ha. The Boxler family has been rooted in this village since 1672; Albert Boxler made the estate's first domaine-bottling in 1946, a standard his grandson Jean has upheld since taking the helm in 1996. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision, tension and mineral drive of its whites — Riesling above all — drawn from lean granitic soils that give the wines a clarity and backbone rarely matched in Alsace. A discreet but thoroughly reliable address for lovers of great dry whites.
