- The fruit is sourced from the finest lieux-dits of the appellation: the elegant Côte-Blonde, the structured Côte-Brûne, and the refined Les Moutonnes, each contributing distinctive character to the final wine.

In the mouth
Rich and voluptuous on the palate, with mocha, preserved fruit and cocoa notes. The wine displays a firm, well-integrated structure wrapped in ripe tannins, delivering both power and elegance with considerable length.
On the nose
Layered bouquet of refined dark fruit, white pepper and mineral notes. Aromatic complexity unfolds with hints of garrigue and siliceous minerality characteristic of the finest Côte-Rôtie expressions.

Deep ruby robe with sustained colour; dark and concentrated appearance

In 228-litre barrels for 3 years
A wine of considerable substance and refinement, suited to game birds prepared with care: roasted quail or pigeon with traditional farce would find an ideal companion in this Côte-Rôtie. The wine's structure and aromatic complexity also recommend it with slow-braised meat dishes and mature cheeses.

DOMAINE DE BONSERINE
Perched on the terraced slopes of Ampuis, Domaine de Bonserine farms 12 hectares of iron- and mica-rich schist across the Côte-Blonde and Côte-Brune, at the heart of one of the northern Rhône's most demanding appellations. Founded in 1961 and acquired by the Guigal family in 2006, the estate operates under full managerial independence, led by Ludovic Richard. Syrah — known locally as Serine — is the soul of the range, occasionally blended with Viognier to striking effect. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its viticulture on steep terraced parcels, the precision of its élevage, and the recognition it has earned — three stars in the 2025 Guide Hachette for La Sarrasine. A benchmark address in the northern Vallée du Rhône.

Le Domaine de Bonserine, l\'un des plus vastes de l\'appellation Côte-Rôtie, signe avec « La Garde » un rouge de structure et de profondeur. Issu des plus vieilles vignes de Syrah et sélectionné parmi les plus beaux terroirs (Côte-Blonde, Côte-Brûne, Moutonnes), ce 2020 offre une charpente enrobée, des arômes complexes de moka et cacao. En magnum, il accompagne élégamment les gibiers et volailles farcies.
