Domaine Jean-Michel Dupre's Beaujolais-Villages exemplifies the appellation's finest qualities: approachable fruit, natural freshness, and honest winemaking. The old vines contribute a subtle complexity that elevates this beyond simple quaffing wine. A genuine expression of terroir, best enjoyed with friends and good conversation.

DOMAINE JEAN-MICHEL DUPRE

At Les Ardillats, on the south-west-facing slopes of the Beaujolais hills at 320–380 metres, Domaine Jean-Michel Dupré farms 14 hectares of sandy-loam soils over a granitic base. Founded in 1989 from just two inherited hectares, the estate has grown steadily while remaining rooted in a family viticultural tradition stretching back generations — including Gamay vines planted as early as 1911. Certified organic and HVE, it produces reds and whites that speak plainly of their terroir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rarity of its century-old vines, the rigour of its organic viticulture, and a family continuity now carried forward by Cindy Dupré. Beaujolais with genuine depth and a strong sense of place.
