DOMAINE DE PANISSE
Spread across 13 hectares at Courthézon, in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, Domaine de Panisse takes its name from a Provençal manor house dating to 1472. Acquired in April 2020 by the Vacheron family — already well regarded at Clos du Caillou — the estate is now farmed under full organic and biodynamic certification, across a mosaic of quartzite galets roulés, sand and clay-limestone soils planted to Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its biodynamic conversion, the character of its reds and the coherence of a project carried by a family whose standards we know well. A Châteauneuf-du-Pape to follow closely.
