Product features : Château La Lagune 3ème Cru Classé 2023 Haut-Médoc — Organic

Breeding
Approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 50% new wood. The oak handling is expertly controlled to support the wine without masking its floral finesse.
On the eye
Deep purple robe with brilliant clarity and violet-tinged edges, characteristic of a fresh, youthful vintage.
On the nose
The bouquet is fresh and inviting, with clear definition of red fruit aromas. The nose speaks of the wine's youth and the purity of its fruit expression, with no heaviness or over-extraction.
In the mouth
The palate is round and supple, with good mid-palate weight balanced by lively acidity. Fine-grained tannins provide structure without dominating, allowing the fruit to remain the focus. A wine of elegance rather than power.
M. Francois
La Lagune's restraint and balance make it an excellent companion to duck, beef and traditional Bordelaise preparations. The wine's acidity and structure also suit aged cheeses well. Drink now for its freshness, or cellar for five to ten years as the wine develops secondary complexity.
