DOMAINE DU PRE SEMELE
Based in Sury-en-Vaux in the Cher, Domaine du Pré Semélé farms 22 hectares across two complementary Sancerre terroirs: kimmeridgian Terres Blanches and portlandian limestone Caillottes. Founded in the 1940s by Maurice and Camille Raimbault on just 3 hectares, the estate is now in the hands of the fourth generation — Julien from 2001, Clément from 2010 — who committed to organic conversion in 2023, producing white, red and rosé from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision of its terroirs, the consistency of four generations of family stewardship, and the seriousness of its move towards organic viticulture. A Sancerre reference we follow closely.
