DOMAINE BELLEGARDE
Based in Monein at the heart of the Jurançon appellation, Domaine Bellegarde farms 14 hectares of certified organic vines on south-facing slopes of argilo-limoneux soils, poudingues and limestone pebbles. Pascal Labasse, trained at Château la Tour Blanche in Sauternes, took over the estate in 1986, dedicating himself to the great Pyrenean varieties — Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng — while replanting the long-forgotten local grape Camaralet. His son Maxime joined him in 2019, reinforcing a rigorous, long-term approach. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the precision of its whites, its authentic rootedness in the AOC Jurançon, and its consistent commitment to organic viticulture. A dependable reference from the Sud-Ouest.
