Product features : CHATEAU HAUT-GRAVAT - CRU ARTISAN

On the eye
Deep garnet robe with good intensity; a wine of substance and maturity.
On the nose
Ripe dark fruits—plum and blackcurrant—with secondary notes of smoke and subtle toasted oak. The bouquet develops with air, revealing earthy undertones.
In the mouth
Concentrated and structured, with well-integrated tannins that are refined rather than aggressive. Good length on the finish; a wine of poise and balance.
M. Francois
This is a Cru Artisan that merits serious consideration at table. I would serve it with classic beef preparations—a braise, or côte de boeuf—where its structure and fruit will shine. It also possesses the weight and complexity to accompany a dark chocolate tart with confidence. Decant 30 minutes before service, or lay it down for another five years with every expectation of reward.

Nicolas françois, propriétaire passionné des halles de quercamps

CHATEAU HAUT-GRAVAT

Situated in Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac, Gironde, Château Haut-Gravat covers 10 hectares in the Bordeaux appellation on a distinctive island of Garonne gravels, classified Cru Artisan since 2011. Reconstituted from 1960 and taken over by Nadine and Alain Lanneau in 1983, this family château produces red and rosé wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot with quiet consistency. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the integrity of its gravel terroir, its Cru Artisan classification, and its HVE certification achieved in 2020 — a genuine commitment to responsible viticulture. The 2022 vintage sealed a silver medal at the 2025 Concours International de Lyon, confirming the steady quality of this characterful Bordeaux.
