  • Marc Pagès, the proprietor, also owns Château La Tour de By, further testament to his commitment to quality winemaking across the Médoc appellation.

Product features : Chateau Noaillac - Cru Bourgeois 2020 — Médoc

In the mouth
Ample and well-balanced palate with fine-grained tannins. Ripe red fruits and blackcurrant lead to a gently spiced finish. The structure is refined, the length satisfying.
On the nose
Seductive bouquet of red berries and liquorice, underpinned by forest floor notes. Subtle vanilla inflection from barrel ageing adds complexity without dominating the fruit expression.
On the eye
Deep purple-garnet robe, brilliant and concentrated with fine clarity
Breeding
12 months in French oak barrels, imparting complexity and structure to the wine
M. Francois
Château Noaillac exemplifies the Cru Bourgeois tradition: quality and accessibility in genuine harmony. The 2020 offers generous fruit, supple tannins, and the refinement that distinguishes serious Médoc from mere commercial wine. Equally at home at the weekday table or the more formal occasion.

CHATEAU NOAILLAC

Situated at Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac in the northern Médoc, Château Noaillac extends across 46 hectares of Garonnais and Pyrenean gravel, producing red, rosé and white wines under the Médoc appellation. Acquired in 1981 by Marc and Xavier Pagès on entirely abandoned land, the château was replanted from scratch and has since risen to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in 2018, now guided by Damien Pagès, the family's third generation. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its HVE-certified viticulture, the distinctive character of its gravelly ridges, and the consistent quality of its Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon-led reds. A Médoc of genuine substance, rooted firmly in its terroir.
