  • A Cru Bourgeois that rewards both immediate enjoyment and careful cellaring. Chateau Noaillac expresses the typicity of its Médoc terroir with admirable restraint and finesse, offering the serious wine lover genuine quality without pretension.
  • Marc Pagès, proprietor of Chateau Noaillac, also owns Chateau La Tour de By, further testament to his commitment to authentic Médoc winemaking across multiple expressions of the appellation.
  • Certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale), this Cru Bourgeois demonstrates that responsible viticulture and classical winemaking principles remain entirely compatible with producing wines of genuine character and depth.

Product features : Chateau Noaillac - Cru Bourgeois 2020 — Médoc

In the mouth
Broad, well-balanced palate with fine, integrated tannins. Ripe red fruit and blackcurrant flavours develop into a gently spiced finish. The structure suggests pleasant evolution in bottle over the coming years.
On the nose
Seductive bouquet of red fruits and liquorice, underpinned by forest floor notes. Subtle vanilla from barrel ageing adds complexity without overwhelming the wine's natural aromatics.
On the eye
Deep purple robe with garnet highlights; bright and concentrated appearance
Breeding
12 months in French oak barrels, imparting complexity and structure to the wine
M. Francois
Chateau Noaillac represents the Cru Bourgeois tradition at its most honest: generous fruit, supple tannins, and refined balance. It serves admirably with roasted meats, game, and mature cheeses, equally at home at the weekday table or a more formal occasion. A wine that neither overreaches nor disappoints.

CHATEAU NOAILLAC

Situated at Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac in the northern Médoc, Château Noaillac extends across 46 hectares of Garonnais and Pyrenean gravel, producing red, rosé and white wines under the Médoc appellation. Acquired in 1981 by Marc and Xavier Pagès on entirely abandoned land, the château was replanted from scratch and has since risen to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in 2018, now guided by Damien Pagès, the family's third generation. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its HVE-certified viticulture, the distinctive character of its gravelly ridges, and the consistent quality of its Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon-led reds. A Médoc of genuine substance, rooted firmly in its terroir.
