In the mouth
Silken tannins provide elegant structure, whilst flavours of dark fruits, warm spice and garrigue develop with pleasing persistence. Well-balanced and refined.
On the nose
Intense aromatics of red and dark berries meld with garrigue and maquis herbs, underpinned by a mineral salinity characteristic of the Figari appellation.
On the eye
Deep garnet robe with violet glints, suggesting structure and maturity.

CLOS CANARELLI
Clos Canarelli is a wine estate in Figari, southern Corsica. Run by Yves Canarelli. Around 28 hectares on granitic soils. Grapes: Sciacarello, Nielluccio, Vermentino and indigenous Corsican varieties (Carcajolo Nero, Minustellu). Organically farmed. The wines express the wild, mineral character of southern Corsican terroir. Manual harvesting.
