In the mouth
Young vintages charm with their freshness, purity and aromatic intensity, balancing fruit and floral notes. With age, the wine develops dried fruit and preserved fruit character, offering considerable flexibility with food pairings from seafood to poultry preparations.
A wine of genuine versatility. Pair with raw or cooked fish—oysters, sole meunière, bouillabaisse. The wine's structure and mineral backbone also complement lighter poultry dishes and vegetable-based preparations. Serve at 8–10°C to preserve its aromatic definition.

Château Carbonnieux is a wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation (Bordeaux), classified Grand Cru Classé de Graves (red and white). Area: 92 hectares. Owned by the Perrin family since 1956. Red grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (7%), Petit Verdot (3%). White grapes: Sauvignon Blanc (65%), Sémillon (35%). Gravel-over-limestone soils.
