Product features : Château Saint-Pierre 4ème Cru Classé 2023 Saint-Julien

Breeding
Aged in barrels for 14 to 16 months, of which 50% new oak.
On the eye
Deep purple-garnet robe, intensely coloured and youthful in appearance.
On the nose
An elegant bouquet unfolding with notes of vanilla, blackcurrant and blackberry, interwoven with gentle spice. The aromatics suggest both ripeness and restraint—hallmarks of fine Bordeaux.
In the mouth
A powerful yet refined palate, built upon a substantial tannic framework with velvety texture. The wine balances concentration with freshness, delivering a long, composed finish that speaks to the vintage's quality.
M. Francois
A wine of sufficient structure to accompany roasted game—venison loin or wild boar particularly benefit from its spiced dark fruit character. Equally suited to robust regional fare, though decanting one hour before service is recommended to allow the wine to fully express itself.

CHATEAU SAINT-PIERRE

Château Saint-Pierre covers 17 hectares of Günzian gravel in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, at the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. First recorded in 1693 under the name 'Serançan' and classified as a 4th Grand Cru in 1855, the château was reunified by Henri Martin in 1982 and subsequently passed to his daughter Françoise Triaud and her family. With Cabernet Sauvignon accounting for 75% of the blend, the château produces structured, age-worthy reds vinified with rigour at controlled yields of 35 to 45 hl/ha. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the integrity of its terroir, the continuity of family stewardship, and its commitment to organic conversion. A benchmark Saint-Julien, true to the spirit of the appellation.
