A wine of perfect harmony and timeless elegance

  • Château Gloria was assembled from several parcels classified as Grand Cru in the 1855 classification. This thoughtful selection of prime Saint-Julien vineyard sites forms the foundation of its consistent quality and character.
  • The estate is also home to Château Saint-Pierre, another respected Saint-Julien property. This dual ownership reflects the proprietor's deep commitment to the appellation and its finest expressions.
  • This wine rewards patience. Approachable in youth for its bright fruit, it develops greater complexity with bottle age, revealing evolved forest floor and tobacco notes that deepen its appeal over years in the cellar.

Product features : Château Gloria 2023 Saint-Julien

Breeding
Aged in French oak barrels for 14 to 18 months, with approximately 40% new wood, adding subtle vanilla and spice aromas to the wine.
On the eye
Deep purple robe, almost black, with garnet reflections
On the nose
Intense and complex bouquet of blackcurrant and black cherry, enriched by precious wood, cedar, liquorice and dark chocolate notes
In the mouth
Structured and generous on the palate, with fine, silky tannins. Ripe dark fruit flavours—blackcurrant and blackberry—are complemented by spice, tobacco and cedar, characteristic of Saint-Julien. The finish is lengthy, with admirable freshness and balance.
M. Francois
Château Gloria exemplifies Saint-Julien's marriage of power and refinement. Its aromatic complexity, well-integrated tannin structure and cellaring potential make it equally rewarding young or after several years in the cellar. Excellent with red meat, game and sauced dishes. An essential choice for serious Bordeaux enthusiasts.

CHÂTEAU GLORIA

Château Gloria spans 50 hectares in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, at the heart of the Médoc, on Günzian gravel soils that define the appellation's character. Founded in 1942 by Henri Martin — cooper and long-serving mayor of Saint-Julien — the château was assembled parcel by parcel, drawing exclusively from land belonging to Classified Growths. Taken over in 1991 by the Triaud-Martin family, it achieved organic certification in 2024 under the guidance of consultant Jean-Michel Comme. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the coherence of its terroir, the rigour of its conversion to organic farming, and the typicity of its Saint-Julien reds. A château that reconciles Médoc heritage with genuine contemporary ambition.
