  • The bouquet is remarkably complex, with stone fruit and citrus aromas interwoven with honeyed notes. This is a wine of considerable aromatic presence.
  • On the palate, elegance and depth combine with a gentle acidity that prevents any heaviness. The wine is both generous and refined, with layers of flavour that unfold gradually.
  • This moelleux will serve admirably alongside fresh fruit desserts, pastries, and chocolate-based confections. A wine of genuine versatility at table.

In the mouth
Marked by restraint and elegance despite its moelleux classification. Gourmand yet structured, with a pleasant acidity that balances the residual sugar and ensures a clean, lingering finish.
On the nose
Intensely fruited: apricot and peach lead, followed by citrus and tropical notes. Honeyed undertones provide textural warmth without cloying sweetness.
On the eye
Deep golden yellow, with a luminous quality that suggests the wine's richness without excess.
Breeding
16 to 18 months in French oak demi-muid
M. Francois
Serve this wine at approximately 8–10°C alongside fresh fruit desserts, fine pastry work, and quality chocolate preparations. The wine's natural acidity makes it equally suited to foie gras or blue cheese. Didier Dagueneau's reputation rests on precisely this balance: wines of genuine complexity that never sacrifice refinement for sweetness.
