Breeding
40% new oak barrels
On the eye
Pale golden hue with bright, luminous clarity
On the nose
Dried camomile and mimosa lead to white flowers and citrus notes—lemon, kumquat, grapefruit. Subtle white stone fruit and mineral undertones complete the bouquet.
In the mouth
Lively acidity balanced by considerable depth. The palate unfolds with tension and precision, revealing layers of citrus, white fruit and flinty minerality that persist through a clean, sustained finish.
M. Francois
A wine of genuine potential. Bouscaut 2023 possesses the acidity, structure and complexity to evolve meaningfully in bottle. This vintage rewards patience; cellaring for five to ten years will allow the wine to develop greater aromatic subtlety and textural harmony. A considered investment in the future.
