Racheté en 1997 par Jean-Marc Gabriel (puis conduit en agriculture biologique sous la supervision de la famille Meffre), le Château Bellegrave est l'un des rares domaines indépendants et à taille humaine au milieu des géants de Pauillac. Les 8 hectares de vignes du Château Bellegrave sont entourés de prestigieuses propriétés comme Château Latour, Château Pichon Comtesse ou encore Château Lynch Bages. Il offre une vision très authentique et accessible de l'appellation, alliant la fraîcheur du fruit bio à la structure caractéristique des grands terroirs de graves. CHATEAU BELLEGRAVE
Established on 8 hectares of graves garonnaises in Pauillac, at the heart of the Médoc, Château Bellegrave produces exclusively red wines under the Pauillac appellation. The château was acquired in 1997 by Jean-Paul Meffre and is today run by his grandsons Ludovic and Julien, who maintain a rigorous approach to viticulture on this gravelly terroir, with a blend anchored by 62% Cabernet Sauvignon. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the precision and honesty of its Pauillac expression: a firm tannic structure, genuine depth, and a terroir identity that reads clearly from one vintage to the next.
