Product features : Château La Lagune 3ème Cru Classé 2023 Haut-Médoc — Organic

Breeding
Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, with 50% new wood, imparting subtle aromas of vanilla, toasted oak and spice that blend harmoniously with the fruit
On the eye
Deep garnet, with a lustrous intensity characteristic of mature Médoc wines.
On the nose
Fresh and inviting bouquet of red fruits—cherry and plum predominate—with subtle mineral undertones. The aromatics are refined rather than exuberant, reflecting the wine's classical breeding.
In the mouth
The palate is round and voluptuous, yet possessed of sufficient vivacity to maintain elegance. Fine-grained tannins provide structure without harshness, leading to a finish of genuine persistence.
M. Francois
This is a wine of genuine versatility at table. It will accompany duck magret with authority, whilst beef—particularly the classic entrecôte bordelaise—finds in La Lagune an ideal partner. Mature cheeses, too, will benefit from its balanced structure and fruit-forward character.
